Kira Lodder is a painter, graphic designer, and illustrator based in Dundas, Ontario. She studied drawing and painting at OCAD University in Toronto, and graduated in 2013.

With over a decade of experience working in design agencies, Kira brings a strong sense of composition, restraint, and visual clarity to her painting practice. Alongside her graphic design career, she has maintained a dedicated studio practice, where her background in design supports strong compositional foundations, leaving space for texture, light, and atmosphere to emerge through paint. After spending the past three and a half years living in California, she returned to Ontario in July 2025, where she continues to develop her painting practice.

Outside the studio, Kira draws inspiration from movement and landscape. She spends much of her time hiking local trails, cycling, running, and travelling—experiences that quietly shape her relationship to place, scale, and light in her work. She lives in Dundas with her husband and their dog.
